Pawsnoozy started the way most good things do — out of frustration.
We're a small team of Australian dog people, and one of us had an anxious rescue who fell apart the moment the front door opened. We tried everything: the toys, the treats, the calming sprays, the TV left on. Nothing stuck. Coming home to chewed shoes and a stressed, panting dog was heartbreaking.
Then we discovered what vets and trainers already knew: dogs are nose-first animals. Let them sniff and forage for their food, and something shifts — they calm down, they focus, and they finally settle. A snuffle mat turned our anxious rescue into a dog who now almost looks forward to us heading out.
We couldn't find one built properly — most slide around and fall apart — so we made our own: non-slip, double-knotted, durable, and machine washable. That's Pawsnoozy.
Our mission is simple: help dog parents leave the house without the guilt, and give anxious dogs a calmer, happier day.
